I’ve loved Invader Zim since before I can remember; I grew up with it! So naturally, when I saw this, I got very, VERY excited. Gir always has a place in my heart, for as long as he has a place for tuna in his head

That made me sad until I made a friend who had met him. Apparently he’s a douche in person. I’m not sure if he was before the whole Nickleodeon screwing him over, or what. But either way he was a douche.
You can’t read JTHM and come away with anything other than the guy being a misanthrope with social issues.
He is indeed a pretty odd guy, but not a douche by any means. I’ve talked to him on several occasions and he’s never been anything but sweet, if a bit strange.

It was. Jhonen said it was Gazlene and the name of Gaz was derived/from the word “Gasoline”. Gasoline = Gazlene = Gaz.

Invader Zim is a once cancelled TV show on Nicktoons.It stopped in 2002.It FINALLY got renewed this year(2010).Basicly Zim`s an alien sent here to destroy Earth.Gir is his “handy” robot helper.His leaders didn`t like Zim,so they gave him a messed up robot.
So,to shorten this up,this is Gir`s “normal” doggy disguise.Which is utterly adorable!X3

Gir is supposed to be a SIR unit from the planet Irken, Zim is a f*uck up and was assigned earth (a pos planet as far as the Irks were concerned, who are addicted to junk food) so that he would be out of their hair for good, they assembled Gir out a trash can of old SIR units, and to everyone’s surprise he came to life. He is a constant annoyance for Zim, but when Gir gets serious he means business.
Thought I’d actually give a background rather than just Gir lines.
